Bio: 
My name is Michael Torres, a first-year PhD student here at UC Merced. I completed my bachelor's at UC Merced as well, where I will be continuing my work in Dr.Geekiyanage's lab in Bioengineering researching extracellular microRNAs. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, eating, and playing with my cat.
